My feet feel so frozen from the fresh green grass. My nose smells hot toast going into my mouth reluctantly. My legs feel the freezing wind crash quickly into my legs as they walk slowly. My ears hear the howling wind, ‘ooooww'! My eyes see yellow turned into orange leaves day after day. My hands feel sogginess of the leaf and grass as the ice dissolved. My mouth tastes mums home-made hot as chocolate. My mind thinks can autumn get any more bone-chilling? That summer takes long to come. Written by Maya.
On freezing, shivering autumn mornings... My feet feel... the frost on the green lengthy grass,I feel it when I pace slowly to the mail box. My nose smells...hot chocolate being kindly made for me in the chilly mornings. My legs feel... the frosty breeze as cold as ice. My ears hear... the ‘shooo’ of the wind while T’m running faster and faster in the shivering cold. My eyes see... the brown,green and yellow rusty leaves ‘wooshing’ in the current. My Hands feel...the heated bowl of my cereal coming out of the microwave. My mouth tastes...the delicious hot chocolate as I ‘slurp’ through it. My mind thinks...when is Summer coming back? To celebrate I would like to say thank you in so many ways. Thank you for tucking me in at night, making my lunch and help celebrate my birthday. You are very good at lifting weights, doing handstand push ups, running and golf. You are not very good at doing my hair, cooking cupcakes or cakes and you are not very good at ipad technology. I love it when you make chop suey, it’s delicious. I admire the you sometimes use your manners and make me and Caleb laugh. Our funniest moment so far was when me and Caleb were trying to attack you but you were too strong. You make me feel safe. Happy fathers day hope it is the best day of your life.
Do you ever wonder why animals become extinct? Well I’ve got the perfect answer. Animals become extinct because they want to go on adventures. You might be wondering how it all started. Well let me tell you.
One day there was a snow leopard called Tom. Tom always wanted to travel the world because he thought that it wasn’t fair on animals to not have an adventure. So Tom built a mint aeroplane out of sticks and water. After two days Tom got in the aeroplane but he didn’t know how to fly so he couldn’t go on a family adventure. But he came up with another plan. His plan was to have an adventure in the snow. Tom wandered around in the snow then he fell into a deep hole. He couldn’t get out so he shouted “Help” but no one could hear him, so he made a home under ground. He ate worms and bugs, he lived happily under ground. But no one knew where he was and that’s what people call extinct.

I really enjoyed going to the hot pools playing tag. But I hated the water because it hurt my eyes. I also enjoyed having home baking at camp. By Maya
